GROWING UP I HAVE NEVER SEEN MYSELF AS THE NATURAL LEADER TYPE. I based that on my tendancy of rather listening than talking myself and not enjoying being the center of attention, unless I have something important to say.

When I was encouraged to run for president of the social events comittee I was flattered. While deciding whether or not to apply I actually found the possibility of failure encouraging me, since I have always been very curious in testing my limits - for better or for worse - and it ended up fuelling my motivation.

The comittee consists of three subgroup including their respective presidents. I realized coordination, structure and management would be challenging, but my interrest for hosting creative events and motivating people got the upper hand - so I applied and got the position!

Despite a few failed courses I have never come to regret my decision. Recieving a lots of positive feedback for the achevements of my fantastic groupmembers as well as for my own entusiasm and creativity has certainly given me confidence and taught me to never stop pushing my limits
